So blog world! I sort of have been cheating on my blogger with wordpress... which I am not proud of.... so here are some images from the past few months. ... ENJOY!

Last Summer Shoot

Well I did my last and final shoot of my summer on Monday. It was a great time and I think it was the largest number of people I have had at a shoot.

And now that I am at school (early) I think I am going to update the website tdk-photo.com and get ready for school to actually start on the 18th!!! Well here are some images... hope you all enjoy!

So when I said yes to the idea of going to Yellowstone I generally assumed I would shoot some nature, and landscapes. HA- forget that crap.

I ended up doing an entire shoot with William and Kate. Kate is a friend of a friend and she is an awesome model. I would peg her as a cross between Kristen Stewart and the Lady from Dances with Wolves. :)

Any Who... The trip was fantastic and as usual music ruled all in the tiny car. If I had to give you two songs to describe the entire trip I would say, "Dog Days Are Over" - Florence + The Machine and "Jesus, Etc." - Wilco. Amazingness. Okay now for some photos... and I will be sure to Blog during school > which starts in ohhhhhh 5 days or so. :P

The Amazing Ellen

Okay so I have not Blogged in like a million years but LOOK it is Ellen. She has been studying abroad in The Netherlands. So we shot FINALLY. She actually cut her hair at the end of the shoot which was awesome and which also explains why her hair is short in the first pic and not the rest... More images of other shoots to come.

I finally shot Kin-z for the first time in a long time and it was awesome. Kin-z had this idea to do this shoot and I picked her up with jewels in her hair just like this.

Oh !!! This is our new location to do some pics!! They are going to rock like none other! Tomorrow something awesome is going down!

5D magic

Yesterday I shot with my 5D for the first time!!!! It would of been better if my 5D got along with my 50mm 1.8f but other than that it is wonderful!!!

Well it has been weeks since my last update. A lot has happened, I had finals, a picture of mine got some heated comments, I am home, I have put my plans to own a 5D into action!, I just orderd a new LITTLE lens; 50mm f1.8,... and other stuff... PICTURES>

this first one is old, but i made it a 20 x 30 canvas print for my mom on mothers day...

So I took the muse out again and it was magical. I was so happy to have the sunshine on my side for once. I drove around in the Jeep for about an hour. I think I got a few good Images. ( you tell me).

Sam is awesome this is the 3rd time we have worked together, and it was so much fun she laid, played, and frolicked in that mud. :)

Chickens, Sedalia, Death Defiance

2day was one magical day full of people, sun, and a few chickens. It all started with William, attempting to describe a Mark Seliger photo, when Will gets the idea to shoot in KC, however a time constrant sent us to Sedalia, which I'm sure I'm spelling way wrong.

My LOGO!!! Designed by the amazing Abby! She is amazing I know, we all know. ... What to know what makes her even MORE amazing?

Well I will tell you she did this for me, in trade exchange, in her free time. I know. She is just the little overachiever... oh jeez. I got to go to sleep... !

Oh man. So I went and shot with Hannah again, we shot Will. William is also a photo student at UCM and he is also a great model! So we used two Locations in "The Burg" and had the cops talk to us (made me laugh), Hannah shot 14.2 GB of images, and I once again used Uncle Dusty the once horribly dusty 20D.

These are my favorites of the day... I mean night.

Lighting

So Hannah and I went off to the big city of Saint James, Missouri. (My hometown) It was awesome we took pics and it made us super tired.

HOWEVER - we brought with us 2 lights, Hannah's new Canon 5D and lots of creativity. And with the help of the AMAZING kin-z we got some killer shots! SO ... take a look, we did some with natural light and then later in the night with the help of a generator we used our lights. !!!

Oh so I don't have any photos to show... yet. But I will after this weekend. So, I am just going to talk... I know amazing.

Last week I actually got to go to an Open House for some amazing people. Kelley Photo and Design, Josh Solar Photography, and Mink Artistry, they rock. ... Really they do! Check them out!

We had cupcakes and hummus and crackers,.... others had wine... was a good time for all. Any who-

OH! So I am working with the most amazing designer to figure out a logo for me. Abby Orlando is the victim who volunteered for trying to make me happy... (not an easy task) but she is blowing me away! Check out her blog, it makes my day usually.

Other than that... Not a lot to talk about I am going home this weekend to shoot some stuff with Hannah we are going to be doing some off camera lighting... Kelley and Josh are such good teachers.. ;) But other than that I will post later on with many amazing photos...!!!

Okay so here is Miss Sam Adams!!! Sam was such a trooper she climbed up and down the worlds LARGEST Hill EVER! Sam did awesome and rocked the hair! We also had a killer day to do the shoot- it was a astounding 70 degrees, and can you believe we had snow on the ground yesterday??? yeah - These images rocked so I will let them speak for themselves.

well here I go in the big word of Blogging... ahhhhh
Well I can tell you all about my horrible day yesterday. Well first I fell up the stairs on my way to my first class. Then as people looked on and laughed at me I got up and went on with the day. ( It was going to be a good day).
So On my now to KC to go to the Shoot Day with Kelley Photo and Design and Josh Solar Photography! It was going to be awesome, except I ended up in KC K and not in Kansas City, at the City Market. So Ashley, the assistant who saved my life calls me and gets me to the shoot day where I got some "coolio" shots!
THanks Kelley, Josh, and oh Yeah- Ashley for getting me out of scaryville.
It was all in all a good day.
